What is 3D Secure and how does it work?
The 3D Secure service increases the security of payments made with payment cards on the Internet. It represents a modern and worldwide highest standard of Internet payments. Thanks to 3D Secure, when paying on the Internet, you do not provide information about your payment card to the seller, but directly to your bank, which will then take care of reimbursing the amount to the seller. Internet transactions are therefore just as safe, fast and convenient as paying with a physical card when shopping in a brick-and-mortar store. An important aspect of security is that the authorization of each payment is carried out in two stages. You enter your card details and wait for the code that will be sent to your phone via SMS. You no longer have to worry about losing or misusing your payment card details. Payment is extremely secure.

Why don't we ship on delivery?
It is known that people still do not trust online payments very much. With cash on delivery, people try to reduce the risk of buying by allowing them to pay for the order only upon delivery. We also often hear how not to buy goods that cannot be sent by cash on delivery, because it may be a dishonest seller who will not send anything. This may of course be true, but we must add that this often happens in cases of anonymous sales, for example through bazaar portals, where the seller has no ratings or does not provide his real identification data.
Moreover, where did you get the assurance that in the case of COD, a dishonest seller will not send you just a brick or paper in the package? Carriers cannot unpack such a shipment in advance and then take it back, because their job is not to control what is being sent by whom, but only to deliver the shipment from place to place. Carriers do not know what you ordered, and if they were to take back the unpacked package, they would be violating their own delivery rules.

From our perspective, we encountered uncollected and unpaid shipments every day. Many customers often ordered the same or similar product in multiple e-shops at once and only accepted the one that arrived first for cash on delivery. Sometimes, for mysterious reasons, they did not even accept the shipment at all. Such shipments incurred additional shipping costs, coupled with the uncertainty of whether the goods would be returned to us in good condition. During the shipment's journey back to us, when the goods remained in transit for several days, we still had our money in the shipment, with which we purchased and shipped the goods. At the same time, we could not offer the goods to other customers during this time. The situation was so unbearable. We were forced to no longer offer the cash on delivery option, thanks to unscrupulous customers. Nevertheless, this happens regularly, we still hear about these problems and some customers are no longer bothered by it. Unfortunately, in the end, it is the customer who loses, because the seller has to reflect this cost in their selling prices.

It depends on how you paid.
If you ever find yourself in a situation where your complaint is justified or you don't receive the goods at all after payment and the seller refuses to refund your money, then it really matters how you paid. In the case of cash on delivery, you have no choice but to file a criminal complaint.
However, if you paid online with a credit card, you can contact your bank to dispute the payment and request a chargeback. If the bank accepts the claim, it will return the payment to your account and claim the money from the seller itself. This is an effective tool for resolving problematic transactions, including the aforementioned payment for goods or services online that you subsequently did not receive.
