Opinel Facette

The Facette collection completes the OPINEL cutlery range with classic and stylish bistro-style knives. It is a combination of comfort, functionality and aesthetics. The handles are made of olive wood, ash, dark ash and VittEr® eco-material, which allows the knives to be placed in the dishwasher. The 11 cm stainless steel blade ensures easy cutting and excellent sharpness. The Facette Ash, Dark Ash , Olive and White cutlery sets contain knives with a smooth blade, while the Facette Slate set has micro-serrated blades. The unique design of these table knives is the work of the BIG-GAME studio.

MADE IN FRANCE
More than 130 years ago, Joseph Opinel invented the pocket knife that still bears his name in a small Savoyard village. The company, still run by Joseph Opinel's descendants, manufactures products ranging from small pocket knives to kitchen and cutlery knives and gardening tools in Chambéry, in the heart of the French Alps.

OPINEL knives have won over generations of users with their appearance and functionality, their design has remained unchanged for over a century and is one of the most successful of all time. In 1985, OPINEL was awarded by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 best designed products in the world, alongside the Porsche 911 and Rolex watches.

OPINEL is part of the French cultural heritage. Its long existence is due to four generations of family and also to generations of workers and collaborators who have been able to respect the roots of the brand - still based in Savoie - and have allowed it to grow.
