Paring knife - A small, lightweight and completely versatile knife with a slim, centrally curved blade. Suitable for a wide range of kitchen tasks from slicing to cleaning to paring meat. Blade length 10 cm.

Technology and production
A special blend of the highest quality German steel , produced exclusively for Zwilling, with an optimal ratio of chromium and carbon, guarantees the best properties. Combined with sophisticated manufacturing technologies, this creates knives that are robust , extremely durable , flexible , corrosion-resistant with long-lasting sharpness .
The knives are forged from a single piece of steel using the patented SIGMAFORGE® technology , which further enhances the excellent properties of high-quality steel - the knives are stronger and the blade is more resistant to dulling. The special hardening process of the knives is using the patented FRIODUR® technology , which consists of frost hardening . Tempering the steel harmonizes its molecular structure, removes internal stress, creates exceptional flexibility and prevents blade breakage.
The laser-controlled "V"-shaped blade ensures excellent and long-lasting sharpness. The flawless geometry and perfect balance of the knife guarantee precise and safe cutting guidance that will not tire your hand even during prolonged use.
The ergonomically shaped handle is made of high-quality synthetic material that is impact and scratch resistant and remains stable even when exposed to temperature changes.
Zwilling knife maintenance
Washing and cleaning
Zwilling knives can be washed in the dishwasher thanks to the special formula of high-quality steel, however, the knives should not be exposed to temperatures above 55°C and should not touch any other objects (pots, cutlery, other knives). Dishwasher detergents often contain aggressive chemicals that can damage the steel surface and handle, and can also shorten the life of the knives and shorten the time they retain their sharpness. Hand washing is gentler on the knives and is therefore recommended. Wash the knives with lukewarm water and a mild detergent using the soft side of a sponge.
Cutting board
We recommend using a flexible cutting board - wooden , silicone or plastic. Too hard materials such as glass, granite or ceramic can damage the blade and cutting edge under certain circumstances.
Sharpening / grinding
Every knife, even the best one, will sooner or later lose its original sharpness and need to be sharpened. And because a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one, we recommend sharpening knives regularly . If a "tooth" or deformity develops on the knife, we recommend that you entrust the knife to a professional as soon as possible.
We recommend using original Zwilling sharpening stones, steels and sharpening wheels for sharpening.
Safe storage
Store knives in a safe place (out of reach of children), always making sure that the handle, not the blade, is facing you. Knives should not touch each other when stored.
Always store only cleaned and dried knives in a wooden knife block or on a magnetic strip.
The right knife
Always use the right knife - the size and texture of the ingredients being processed (meat, vegetables, fish, pastries) vary greatly, so use specific cutting techniques and therefore a specific knife for each ingredient.
